How to Replace the battery on AT&T Pixi Plus

  1. Disconnect the USB cable and all accessories that are attached to the phone.
  2. To begin separating the back cover from the body of the phone: Use your thumbnail to release the clasp at the midpoint of the left side of the phone. See (a) in step 3.
  3. Run your thumbnail around the hairline opening to release the upper-left and top clasps. You may hear a sound when each clasp releases.
  4. Release bottom clasp

  5. Run your thumbnail around the hairline opening to release the bottom-left and bottom clasps. End at (b).
  6. Remove cover

  7. Swing the body of the phone out of the back cover as if the right side were a hinge.
  8. Remove cover

  9. Remove the battery by sliding your finger under the groove at the side of the battery.
  10. Remove battery

  11. Insert the new battery.
  12. Insert battery

  13. To replace the back cover: Insert the ringer switch into the hole provided for it on the right side of the back cover.
  14. Replace back cover

  15. Press the back cover and the body of the phone together at each pair of clasps. You can feel the clasps engage.
  16. Close clasps
