Now for all AT&T Iphone owners, there is no need to worry about that you careless drop your iphone device and broke the screen or LCD but without insurance on the device to get it replaced. As according to BGR, we learn that the Apple iPhone users will get a new specially desined insurance called MobileProtect starting June 6.

Asurion will run the new insurance plan via Apple stores, and tag the carry price at $13.99/month, charged to the credit card that Apple has on file. AT&T Iphone info

- Deductibles range from $99 for the 8 GB 3G all the way up to $199 for the 32 GB 3GS.

AT&T Samsung i897 Galaxy S – New AT&T Android Phones

Besides the Dell Aero, another new Andoid phoe that is coming to AT&T , which is just the Samsung i897, a variety of Samsung i900 Galaxy S. Great! We will have another choose.

In looks, the Samsung i897 has a little difference from the Samsung Galaxy S, while its features are very similar to the Galaxy S’s, also the i897 Galaxy S will come with a wonderful 4 inch super AMOLED touchscreen display, great, I like the large screen device, as it looks like a PDA. The i897 will be powered by Android 2.1. OS, and it will be equiped with a 5MP camera, 3.5mm headset jack and a Snapdragon processor( maybe ARM Cortex A8 1GHz processor).

It is said AT&T will lanuch or release the i897 Galaxy S this Summer, there is no an exact release date for it. as for its price, either no words mentions it.

The Samsung Rugby II for AT&T is a update of Samsung Rubgy, it comes with a rugged clamshell desing, meets the military-level protection standards, and supports a key PTT call. Its special feature is it is made of rubber waterproof and shatterproof material, dust, shock, vibration, temperature, pressure and solar radiation to reach the military aspects of tolerance of 810G standard, aslo the Rugby II has good quality Calls and So it is aimed at customers who likes outdoor Sports.

In other hands, the AT&T Rugby II is at best regarded as an entry-level device, it is euqiped with a built-in 2.0 MP camera, supports AGPS, Push to Talk and other services, and as well as music player, Bluetooth, microSD card expansion. In addtion, it iis equipped with 2.2-inch 176 x 220 pixel internal display and 1.6-inch 128 x160 pixels external screen.

Overall, there is no big improvements on the Samsung Rugby II compared with other Samsung Gophone, looks a little stupid. I hope AT&T will offer more nice Pre-paid phones came out with a rugged candybar instead.

AT&T launching free Wi-fi Smartphone in Times Square

According to Wall Street Journal, it is said in order to help alleviate network congestion, AT&T now is offering free Wi-Fi for all its smartphome throughout the Time Square area. It means that AT&T smartphone have the Wi-Fi radio turned on will automatically switch to the Wi-Fi network for data sessions. There is no charge associated with using the Wi-Fi network. While Many users say it has no sense to make the move, as the offer has been availbale for a long time.

Now I really hope I were living in New York, if so, I can enjoy the free service for sometime. Sadly, I’m not in the same city.

The lg Vu plus is the update version for AT&T’s MediaFLO-enabled LG Vu bar, it is coming to AT&T stores on Jun 6 for $149.99 with two year agreemtns after after mail-in rebate receive $50 AT&T Promotion Card.It is boasted the vu plus has sleek exterior, compact size and user-friendly interface, I hope it is so!

The Vu plus has a fresh design the same as the previous version of lg vu, it is also equiped with a 3 Inch large touchscreen, a 400 by 240 pixel display and a proprietary, and Flash-based interface. At this you may feel a little disappointed, but compared with the vu, of course, the vu plus comes with some changes, it offers a sliding 4-row, QWERTY keyboard , while its preducessor is just a bar, which makes it is easy for texting message. Other changes including: the camera is upgraded to 3 megapixels from the 2 megapixel shooter on the original Vu.

At thus, the AT&T Vu plus still has some redeeming features, however, I think the $149.99 seems a little expensive, it should be priced at $100.

If you want to better manage your Pantech Impact for AT&T, then download one free software offered by Pantech called PC suite to help you. As the software contains the USb Driver enables your phone connect with a PC, so that you can easily manage personal data and multimedia files through a PC, including PC Sync Microsoft, Outlook, and Outlook Express with PC , also it allows you to view, edit, and organise Messages from the Phone on a PC, ect..

How to set Mp3 as Ringtones on AT&T Pantech Impact

So far we have found two methods to set downloaded Mp3 as ringtones on AT&T pantech Impact, adn we have list the methods one by one, just do exactly as the steps below:

Method 1: My Stuff > External (click the tab located in the upper right corner) > Audio > Download ringtones > Options > Set as Ringtone. Just be sure that the ringtone mp3 file you want to use is less than 300 Kb.

Method 2:

1. Sideload / transfer Mp3 from Windows Media Player to Pantech Impact phone, by doing the following:
1) Connect the USB cable to the device and the computer.
2) Select Music Player > Select.
3) Open the Sync tab in Windows Media PlayerTM in your
computer.
4) Select the music from the list and drag and drop to your
device.
note: Windows Media PlayerTM 10, 11 and Window XP version is required.

2. Press Menu > AT&T Music > Music Player.
3. Select the categorize using U/D to play the music.
4. Select the file using U/D then press Options > Set as
Ring Tone.
note: During playing the music the fi le can not be set as ring tone. You cannot set a fi le which is larger than 300 Kb as a ringtone.

Good news for AT&T Android phone users, you will be able to use the myWireless Mobile application on your Android devices soon(which has been availbale on balckberries and iphone) , as recently AT&T announced that it is applying the Mobile App to the Android platform.

As we known, With the application, Android phones users also can view and pay their bill for on AT&T’s network (Motorola Backflip), view voice and data usage; add or remove features to/from their accounts; and enroll in paperless billing.

How to Set/assign mp3 as ringone for contacts on AT&T Lg Expo

In fact, it’s very easy to set mp3 as ringtones and alarms on lg Expo for AT&T, just use WM file explorer to designate sound file, point to file and hold down, then the Action menu will popup> Set Select “Set as Ringtone”.> Then now it will show in all pull down selection menus. Now you just need to do as the steps below:

1. Tap Contacts. AT&T Lg eXpo Info

2. Tap desired contact.
NOTE: Contacts saved to SIM will need to be saved to phone.

3. Tap Menu.

4.Tap Edit.

5. Tap “Ring tone” field.

6. Tap desired ringtone that you just uploaded from your PC or other devices.

8. Press the End key to return to the Today screen.

Though the palm pre plus for AT&T hasn’t been availbale so far, while based on our recent-learned, we have some views on it. Now list them here one by one, hope it is useful for you when you are going to buy it.

As we known, the palm pre plus has some changes in appearance and improvements in performance.

In hardware, the palm pre plus ’s memory is upgraded fromthe original 8GB memory to 16GB of memory, also oreo effect on palm pre is effectively amended. In addtion, in the front design, the palm pre plus cancel the era pearl buttons on palm pre, but is more smoothly sensitive to operate pebbles in the panel, no doubt it is a very cool operation. While The keyboard is barely usable then again I'm biased because I'm an anti-keyboard type of guy. I don't like keyboards on capacitive screen devices, it's pointless for me. I type extremely fast and accurate using on-screen keyboards, something that the Pre lacks unfortunately and even if it had one the screen is a bit small for one. Lastly I realize that AT&T has issues in some areas but I live in Washington DC which is also a major area and I get lightning fast speeds. AT&T Cell phone Reviews

In software, the palm pre plus comes with a 3.1 inches TFT material full touch screen with a resolution of 320 × 480 pixels (HVGA level), regardless of the color performance or the level of capacity is very satisfactory. The transition effects for the new UI interface is very gorgeous , supports full-screen multi-touch, but also has the gravity sensor technology and trackball design, users will get the new touch experience. The Palm Pre plus’s camera is for 3.0 MP, also with LED flash, image quality is not bad.

Moreover, the Web OS is based on Linux, so the interface intuitive, easy to operate in multi-tasking, while the Palm Pre also features a new Texas Instruments OMAP processor. In addition, the Palm Pre plus has built-in GPS , using 3.5mm standard headphone jack, Bluetooth and WiFi , it is a full-featured smartphone.

Several days ago, we had heard that AT&T will officially launch the Palm pre plus on May 16 th for $149 with new contracts, while it was not confirmed by any official. Fortunately, today palm finally announces the pre plus will be introduced by AT&T on May16th, priced at $149.99 with 2-year contracts after$100 mail-in rebate. Well, we can see the AT&T pre plus soon, also AT&T should release the palm pre plus soon after launching it. Let’s stay tuned!

Moreover, I’m glad to tell you if you are going to buy the Pre Plus in corporate stores , you will get a free Touchstone charger for a limited time.

AT&T LG EXPO GW820 battery issue fixs

As we known, the LG EXPO GW820 for AT&T is a cool smartphone, so you know there are many application applyed on one smartphone, so if you have the weak problem with the LG EXPO’s battery, then just do exactly as the methods below to fix the issue:

Method 1. Start – Settings – System – Power – Advanced – Select 'On Battery Power'

Method 2. Start – Settings – System – Backlight – Select 'On Battery Power' then, change the backlight duration to the way you want. AT&T Lg eXpo Info
