AT&T launching free Wi-fi Smartphone in Times Square

According to Wall Street Journal, it is said in order to help alleviate network congestion, AT&T now is offering free Wi-Fi for all its smartphome throughout the Time Square area. It means that AT&T smartphone have the Wi-Fi radio turned on will automatically switch to the Wi-Fi network for data sessions. There is no charge associated with using the Wi-Fi network. While Many users say it has no sense to make the move, as the offer has been availbale for a long time.

Now I really hope I were living in New York, if so, I can enjoy the free service for sometime. Sadly, I’m not in the same city.
