AT&T to work with TerreStar to release its first Hybrid cellular / satellite smartphone in early 2010

Posted: 30 Sep 2009 10:54 AM PDT

Exciting news for AT&T customers, AT&T today announces that it is working with TerreStar to make a Hybrid cellular / satellite smartphone In US for us. The Genustm smartphone ’s key feature is working with TerreStar’s satellate service, which eables the device to normally access when users are covered by AT&T’s cellular network, and can seamlessly switch to the satellite network for coverage in remote areas of the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands and in territorial coastal waters.

In addtion, the satellate phone will still run on window mobile, and supports quad-band GSM/EDGE and dual-band UMTS/HSDPA 3G radios. Other features include  a 2.6-inch touchscreen, QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.  It is said the service won’t be come out untill early 2010, and the Hybrid smartphone won’t be released for us, but will  be available to government and business customers first. New AT&T Cell phones

Unfortunately, the service and the device’s exact price is unkown. But according to another site, it is sad the cost of the equipment will be $800-$900. You will sign up for a regular voice plan plus pay $24.99/mo for satellite access. Calls in the US will run $.65 and data $5.00/Megabyte. Still, that is on a par, or even less than some satellite providers and allows you the convenience of just having to carry 1 device for your communications.

AT&T Lg Neon Vs Lg Xenon Reviews

Posted: 29 Sep 2009 09:48 AM PDT

Many customers ask me which AT&T phone is better, the lg neon or the lg xenon. As for this problem, I don’t want to say too much, as there is really nothing to say. The lg neon and lg xenon are both texting message phones with a silder design, and both of devices offer a full Qwerty keypad with touchscreen. The difference is the xenon has a bigger screen, and less buttons going on on the front like the lg enonAT&T Lg Xenon info

Which makes it easy to text message and looks Simpler and more Generous than Neon, so I think it is suitable with the young fashion people older than 20. While the neon is nice colorful great phone, it’s cheaper than xenon, but it is aimed at a kid 12-16. If they text a lot. Overall, I’ll choose the lg xenon, and about you? Why? AT&T Lg Neon Info

AT&T Blackberry 9700 Photos

Posted: 23 Sep 2009 09:20 AM PDT

Recently we get some live photos for Blackberry 9700, though now it hasn’t been branded with AT&T mark ,  I find the name of AT&T on the phone screen, and  I think It’s simply a matter of time before AT&T’s logo appears in the phone. The 9700 is very much like the 9520/9550 in terms of industrial design and gives us a glimpse at where RIM's styling is headed for the next round of handsets. Things like soft-touch rubberized finish on the middle of the handsets with matching rubberized buttons (instead of chrome), darker chrome finishes, high gloss black — all these lead to more pronounced and edgier designs for a historically conservative corporation. Now Check more out with your own eyes, and let’s know how do you like it after seeing it.

AT&T 3G femtocell upcoming next week

Posted: 18 Sep 2009 10:19 PM PDT

As we known, AT&T has been busy testing phases the  3G femtocell throughout the summer, but there has been little infor about the microcell after last reporting. Finally today we are told that the 3G Microcell could be coming to AT&T in the next few days in selected markets. Sadly, AT&T doesn’t annouce the full list of markets. It is conformed that the Atlanta, San Antonio, Seattle and North Carolina are included in  the initial launch.

We think the femtocell should coming out by the end of this year. And this action will enhance the 3G coverage rate in homes with poor network.

AT&T Pantech C790 Heading to AT&T on October 1st

Posted: 15 Sep 2009 09:09 AM PDT

We have been told that there will be a new pantech phone named Pantech C790 heading to AT&T. The upcoming AT&Tphones - Pantech C790 is a slider with a Qwerty number keypad, which makes it easy to text message or email on it. In addtion, the c790 will come with a 2MP camera, 3G connectivity and Bluetooth support. Interesting! The device will be available in red with a black keypad, or blue with a blue keypad.

Now neither AT&T and Pantech has announced the Pancech c790, but it is expected to hit AT&T on October 1st. Sadly, there is no words on its release date and pricing, but  we guess the slider will cost $30 after a rebate and with a 2 year pact.
