AT&T Samsung Mythic hack – Full Permissions for apps installed OTA

If you have probelm to install apps on AT&T samsung mythic with the TKFileExplorer install method, then try the new way that I find on samsung mythic forum, this is a new hacked method, it will allow full permissions to any app you can install on your phone. Also this way will work with mgmaps to allow you to see the memory car. What’s more important, it orks with all applications that use the gps, access the internet, or use the memory card.

Note: This method is for those that have a data plan and can access the internet on their phone. You will need to be familiar with the program TKFileExplorer. AT&T cell phone Questions&Answers

Now take installation amazegps as an example to teach everyone how to get full Permissions when your install apps on samsung mythic phone via OTA, just follow the steps below:

1. Download the Signed version of amazegps for samsung mythic from wap.amazegps.com. Of course, If you already have a modified version on your phone it is best to delete it and download it again.

2. Connect your phone using TKFileExplorer. Go to the amaze folder (exe/java/games/amaze/) and delete the manifest.mf, and the appdb folder.
3. Amaze is already fullscreen, but other apps like opera mini and mgmaps are not. In this case. Upload the jad file to your computer using TKFE. Open the jad with notepad and copy these lines to the bottom. Resave the jad and download it back to your phone.

Some apps can be made to rotate on the mythic. Works for SOME apps not games. Add this code also to the jad.

4. Disconnect your phone and run amaze or the app you just installed.
Exciting, this method should work for any app that you can manage to install by using wap (internet). It’s safe and it’s the most complete in allowing all permissions.

When I’m worried about the browser issue existing in my AT&T lg incite, I just find that lg has released the browser update for lg incite. If you have the Browser problem experiencing an error message when attempting to access Media Net or Netfront Browser on the inctie phone, now update it immediately. simply follow the steps below to download the correction to your PC and then to your phone. Requirements:1. Active Sync is required to complete this process. If ActiveSync is not installed please install before proceeding. To download the latest version[Download link] Or Active Sync can be installed from startup disc that came with the device. AT&T Cell phone Software

2. Once Active sync has been installed successfully; download file to computer. The following Operating Systems are supported:
- Windows XP
- Windows Vista
- Windows 7Step 1.

How to update/Installation software :

Steps 1：

- Download the Browser Update to your PC.
- Save file to your PC. (Desktop for easy access)
Step 2.
- Connect device to PC via USB cable.
- ActiveSync will automatically open.
- If ActiveSync does not open launch ActiveSync from Program list.

Step 3.

- In active sync window select Explore option.

Step 4.
- Select My Windows Mobile-Based Device

Step 5.
1)Copy/Paste or Drag and Drop the file that was saved to desktop (or location selected in to Mobile Device

Which AT&T phone is better, the Lg xenon or the Samsung Solstice? Actually, it’s easy to choose. I think It’s really just about your “Style”. If you texts a lot, then the lg xenon a better choose , as it offers a touchscreen with a full Qerty keypad, which makes it is eaiser to text on it. Though it freeze sometimes, but not often. While the samsung solstice doesnt have a keyboard, it comes with a vitrual Qwerty key board may take some time to get used to. AT&T Lg Xenon info

Exciting news for AT&T Tilt 2 and HTC pure users, HTC recently has released two Hotfixes for both of the two phones to fix the freezing issues in the SMS application and problem with inconsistent Caller ID .

How to download and install the hotfixs on your AT&T phones:

1. Downloaded hotfixes onto my PC

2. Connected phone via USB and transferred the files through the ActiveSync connection

3. Put the files on the micro SD storage card

4. Disconnected the phone from my PC AT&T HTC Pure Info

5. Installed the Caller ID hotfix first. No problems.

6. Phone booted back up and the screen came up telling my everything was installed successfully

7. Installed the SMS hotfix. No problems AT&T HTC tilt2 Info

8. Same as before….everything installed successfully.

I have the AT&T HTC Tilt 2 , and I use the Garmin Mobile XT on my tilt2 phone, I think the Mobile XT is the best GPS appliaction for my AT&T Tilt2. As so far it works great for me, and there is any problem with it. Especially it's FREE and no data consumption.

The Garmin Mobile XT features:

How to install Garmin Mobile XT to HTC tilt2 Windows Mobile Phone:

1l First off, there are three (3) main downloads needed to perform the operation. Download all these application.

Garmin Mobile XT : Download
Garmin Mobile XT Support Files : Download
Garmin Mobile XT Free Basemap : Download

2. Connect your device to the computer using the USB cable

3. Make sure that you are connected via Microsoft ActiveSync

4.Download all the above files to your computer, double click the file, install, and choose the installation location to your mobile phone. AT&T HTC tilt2 Info (

5. choose to install to "My Storage", and the installation directory will look like this:

My Storage\Garmin\

6. Finish up the installation

7. Install all three Garmin Mobile XT, Support files and Free basemap one by one with the same procedure. 8. Disconnect your mobile phone from the PC and see your mobile phone for new application installation process.

Adding GPS Map files to your Garmin Mobile XT

Now that we're all set with the application, it's time to install GPS map files to your mobile phone. In my case, I use MalsingMaps Malaysia and Singapore map. You need to download the installer files to your PC first, and it is available here:

MalsingMaps Malaysia and Singapore map (MFM) : Download (at the moment: MFM v1.60)
MelsingMaps Malaysia and Singapore Topo map (MFM-SRTM) : Download (at the moment: MFM-SRTM v1.02)

Now that you've downloaded both these files. Reconnect your mobile phone back to your PC with USB cable. This time, I will not going to connect my phone via 'ActiveSync', but connect via 'Mass Storage'. On your mobile phone, go 'Start > Settings > Connection > USB connection' and choose 'Mass Storage'. Now connect it to the computer.

Open up the downloaded files on your PC by double clicking the MFM map installer file. Then repeat the installation process to install the MFM-SRTM topo map.

Recently we get some hands-on pictures for AT&T Lg expo Smartphone with pico projector. No strange, it feels so heavy, as it pack a 1GHz snapdragon processor, this point just makes the Windows Mobile experience a bit more tolerable. The Lg expo is a decent looking smartphone, it's definitely slimmer than all the HTC Touch Pro2 variants out there. If you cancel the pico-projector attachment, it looks cuter , but without being too bulky. However, this will affect its all aexperidence.

The Lg expo may not be suitable for everyone, but it may bring benefit for business users and media buffs . Now the Lg expo without pico projector on sale,the projector phone hasn’t arrived so far. But we guess we’ll see the 1GHz snapdragon processor soon!

AT&T Samsung Flight Tutorial- Install Apps/Games

How to install appliactions /games on AT&T Samsung Flight if you don’t have a data plan? Is it possible?

Of course, it is possible. Here is just the tutorial to teach you how do it, just follow the instructions below:

Requirements: a data cable, Installation and usage of TKFileExplorer, Accessing Admin Settings w/ Master Key.
Download Links:
PC studio for samsung flight: [Download here] (What you use in this guide)
TK File Explorer 2.2: [here] (Used to access the Internal Memory of the phone)
JADGen: [here] (Used to generate .JAD files from .JAR files)

Note; You can also get TKFileExplorer to work with just the USB Modem Drivers if you want standalone drivers (No PC Studio)
USB Modem Drivers: [here] (Used if PC Studio doesn’t load the proper drivers or you just want standalone drivers)

Steps:

1. Download [Download here]and install the PC studio for samsung flight on your PC

2. Now Connect your USB Cable to your phone. Make sure the phone is set to ‘Samsung PC Studio’.
(Menu -> Settings -> Connectivity -> Select USB Mode -> Samsung PC Studio)
Let the drivers install.
3. Once finished you might have to restart PC Studio as well as your phone to detect properly (while still connected). Once detected it should say ‘ Samsung Flight Connected’.

4. Installation and usage of TKFileExplorer

5. Accessing Admin Settings w/ Master Key

Once you have finished transferring all the games/applications you want. Do the following:

1) Go back to the home screen and tap ‘Dial’ input the following: (For Admin Settings) *#6984125*#

2) Tap on ‘Internals’, Input the following code (Master Key). *#3818790*#

3)Tap on ‘Storage Settings’ AT&T cell phone Questions&Answers

4) Tap on ‘Update Java DB’, Now scroll down to where it says ‘Update app database’ and Tap on that.

5) It should take a couple of seconds to update.

6) Once updated you can check out your new games/apps!

Note:This method works with Windows XP and Windows Vista (32/64-bit)

It is rumored that the Motorola Motus will head to AT&T as its first android phone in early 2010 , also named Motorola Backflip MB300 or Motorola Enzo MB300. It is said the phone is said to be light and responsive， I hope so! The Motorola MB300 confirmed features including:

The HP iPAQ Glisten for AT&T comes with a sturdy construction, also equiped with a nice touch screen phone and a front-facing QWERTY keyboard, it looks a lot like the Motorola Q9h at first glance, but the screen on the front is very small, so it is more similar to blackberry curve. Its AMOLED touch screen should be one of the highlights of the smartphone, but instead, the low-resolution screen and the poor touch interface make it one of the phone’s downfalls. In addition, there’s very little in the way of extras or customization that just makes the smartphone feel drab. The HP Glisten features good call quality , and its other features are still wonderful. However, it has a low-resolution screen that really isn’t optimized for a touch user interface. It has subpar multimedia capabilities, and performance can be sluggish at times.

Overall, the Glisten is just a basic messaging smartphone, I really don’t think it costs for $179.99. How do you think of it?

AT&T Samsung Mythic Trick – Full Screen Touch Google Maps with working GPS

Do you meet the problem on your AT&T Samsung Mythic phone, Which is you have downloaded google maps from google mobile, but it is so disappointing that you can’t use a touch version with the gps? If so, here is a solution for you. Just follow the steps below:

1) Delete any previous versions of google maps

2) Download the jar and the jad from below to your computer
